My Review Policy updated 11/24/2023

Reviews will be later than I normally get to them. If you don't mind the wait then please send them to me.

I review pretty much anything that tickles my fancy!
I enjoy the paranormal, paranormal romance, post-apocalyptic, demons, witches, horror, murder mystery, thrillers, dystopian, urban/dark fantasy, YA/Teen, suspense, and humor.
If you would like for me to be part of a tour, then just let me know ahead of time. All items for the giveaway must be provided by the author or publisher. If you send me a Microsoft Word document, please note that I can not download them. You will have to send it another way.

In my reviews, I give a book up to 15% before whether I like it or not. If after 15% of the book I can not get into it then it becomes a DNF (did not finish) please do not be upset if your book is one of these. I will not leave a review anywhere, but as the book is part of my Goodreads challenge, I will make a note saying I DNF, but no rating or review will be left.
Files that I accept:
  • Mobi
  • Print books (Please note that if you send the book as a print, I take it as you are sending me a gift. If you want it back then please let me know before you send it.)

If you would like for me to do a giveaway for a book release or just because just let me know if I need to set up the giveaway.

I will give you an honest review of your book. My ratings are wine glasses range from 5 to 1. 5 being as I enjoyed it and recommend it to 1 being as I did not enjoy it. Even if I did not enjoy the book, I will NOT bash you as an author, and I would still recommend it to others who might enjoy it.

I always read beta and ARCs before any other books. As they get top priority, please be understanding.

  1. I'd love to submit my Urban Fantasy book (it's book one of a series) for possible review. I'll copy/paste the amazon link but I'm happy to submit an official query. Where would you like me to send it?

    Thanks so much!

  2. Hello, my name is Marvin Scholz and I am a self-published author and would love an honest book review from you.

My first book 'Learning How to Heal a Broken Heart' - Transforming Breakdowns into Breakthroughs.

The book is non-fiction and 164 pages long. Available for purchase on Amazon (eBook and paperback) and Barnes and Noble online store(hardcover).

    Book Bulb:

‘Learning How to Heal a Broken Heart’ is a ‘how-to’ book. It gives steps on how to heal from a romantic loss, disappointment grief and rejection. Learning how to heal a broken heart is about accepting the fact that things will be uncomfortable for quite some time. It’s accepting that you’ve been wounded, and someone left a mark on you. The book is about healing, and how it is your own responsibility. And healing isn’t just about becoming the old you again. It’s about being reborn again from the ashes of the old you, into a new version of yourself. The best version of yourself. I love the illustration of a phoenix; healing is putting your old life on fire, and letting the light show the way for a new one, a better one. Turning a breakdown into a breakthrough is a challenging process. But one that is so worth it. Healing isn’t pretty, it isn’t easy, but it is a beautiful transformation. It’s a new beginning, a fresh start. The book is for everyone who is struggling to let go, struggling to move on. It’s for people who are grieving an immense loss. People who lost the person they loved.

  3. I would like you to review my novel, Be Happy with My Life
Katie is dying, but before she goes, she wants to find another woman to replace her to look after her husband and her family.

‘Bugger!’ said Katie; ‘that’s a nuisance; dying was not part of my plan.’
In fact, it annoys her quite a bit. So she decides to adjust her plan…. slightly to get around the death problem and ensure her family will still be happy after she has gone.
Amusing, hilarious at times, sad but uplifting and life-affirming. This is Katie’s revised plan for life…. You will not have read a book like this before.
